My College Canteen
My college life began last year as I took admission in Graphic Era Hill University for pursuing my B.Sc. degree. The Campus here is wonderful. The environment is very clean. Within this beautiful campus there lies one of the most busy & crowded place which is “the canteen”.
A huge number of students can be seen here wandering about, having some snacks and eatables. Even faculty members visit our canteen. Sometimes small parties are organized by student for their friends on their birthdays or some other special occasions.
The canteen has a variety of delicious snacks and meals belonging to several cuisines, provided to the students and the staff of my college at highly reasonable prices. But, it is not just a place to eat, moreover it is a place where several thoughts may arise in the mind of students, a place where numerous jingles are created & hummed by young  talents of my college. The ambience which is created here can make you realize that it is a place where you can hangout & spend your whole day with your friends keeping away from all the stress and tension of your life.
The canteen plays a important role in shaping the college life of a student. It holds so many good memories that one can cherish even after their college life is over. A canteen is a necessity for every college & institution. My canteen not only serves as a reliable source for having food items but also serves as a meeting place, a gossiping zone, a relaxation point and a lot more.

Talking about the location and infrastructure of my college canteen, it is located at the basement and is a huge hall consisting of several tables and chairs which makes it spacious. It has proper air ventilation. It has a big kitchen where all the food items are prepared with hygiene and proper care.
“Whether its served on fine china or a paper plate food brings us together and stimulates conversation. We feast to wed, mourn, celebrate, strengthen friendship and simply to be hospitable. Good eating is one of life’s great pleasures.”
